Yes, to me there seems to be an even bigger buzz about this album than the last few. I'm going for No.4. |

I'd agree Transgressive have been brilliant in promoting this album, so fingers crossed.
However, I'll somewhat cautiously predict a #9 position. This is because there currently seems a lot of clutter at the upper end of the UK album charts ... lots of bland, easy-listening artists that have albums that have been in the charts for multiple weeks, months, years.
That said, I think they will go #1 in the physical sales chart (like TGICIHL did). |

I have no idea how the Amazon LP/CD charts work. MAD! was #41 yesterday and #93 today in category of 'Rock'. _________________ Billy, Don't Be A Porter |

In the Pop section it is up in the top 10 . It changes now and again . FFS how long has Abba Gold been in it. Forever and forever . They did once say that the band had a value that exceeded Volvo's . Its all about judging your release date and getting the Hype up to get a decent first Week position. Back in the 70s it was a massive achievement to Album top 10 . So much fierce competition on a totally different level. _________________ I Think that went very Well |

Thanks for the link, interesting.
I look at the Billboard and Amazon charts from time to time. I also look at chart position when looking at albums on Wikipedia. _________________ Billy, Don't Be A Porter |

Typically it will, because there's a load of day 1 sales from the fans (like me...), but staying power over the week is something different. I'd love to be proved wrong though!!! |

Whatever the final position, Transgressive have done a fantastic job promoting it. |

No1 no doubt about it whatsoever.Head of steam up with different formats and Transgressive have been brilliant and of course Sue and all the team at the managment.I was In kitchen last week making breakfast and Mrs is shouting my name and i ran into living room to see what she was shouting me for and Sparks were just about to walk on the BBC breakfast sofa on the TV. |
